Collection Center Worker
There are 20 Collection Centers throughout Miami-Dade County. This person will be assigned to a specific Collection Center to assist in the collection and processing of equipment and supplies from Precinct Clerks and Election Specialists on Election night. Staff reports to the Centers at 6 p.m. until completion (minimum 4 hours). This position is open to the public.

Administrative Troubleshooter
This person will be assigned to a number of precincts within a particular geographic area, and monitors the precincts throughout Election Day. This person will be responsible for addressing administrative and technical issues as needed. Only County, job basis, employees are eligible for assignment to this position.

Elections Specialist
This person will be assigned to support the Elections Department. This person may be assigned to a polling place on Election Day and will be responsible for activating, deactivating and troubleshooting the election equipment. The Elections Specialist at a precinct is also responsible for accessing the County’s voter registration rolls for the purpose of verifying voter eligibility. Alternatively, an Elections Specialist may be assigned to the tasks Day Election Support or Night Election Support, assisting with functions including, but not limited to, distribution, collection and help desk functions. Only County, job basis, employees are eligible for assignment to this position.
