Changes of Address Within Miami-Dade County
Registered voters within Miami-Dade County can make address changes by e-mail, telephone, fax, or by submitting an updated Voter's Registration Application Form . In order to change your address you must include the following:
- Full Name (First, Middle, and Last)
- New Residence Address
- New Mailing Address (if different)
- Date of Birth
- Telephone
- E-mail address
- Fax
Moving to Miami-Dade County from another county or moving to a new county?
- Moving from one Florida County to another requires you to re-register as a new voter in that county. Contact your local Elections Office for registration forms or for any additional information. Political party changes or name change

For any political party or name change, State Law requires you to fill out a new Voter Registration Application Form with the new information including an original signature on the document. Political party or name changes made via fax or e-mail will not be accepted.

When you change your address, an actual Miami-Dade County residence address is required by law. If you provide any kind of mailing service address, P.O. Box, or business address, the change will not be accepted, and may cause a delay in your registration and/or voting process.

Signature Updates
It is important to update your signature as it may change throughout the years. To submit a signature update, please fill out a Voter Registration Application Form and check off the "signature update" box at the top of the application.
