(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The January 29th Presidential Preference Primary is just around the corner, but voters don't have to wait until then to cast their ballots. Early Voting is available on Monday, January 14th through Sunday, January 27th. Twenty Early Voting sites are available throughout Miami-Dade County; and voters can go to any site that is convenient to cast their vote.
"Early Voting is a service that we are pleased to offer to our voters. They can vote any day of the week, Sunday through Saturday at a location near their home or place of employment,” said Lester Sola, Supervisor of Elections, "Voting has never been more accessible."
The Elections Department website and the editor's notes at the end of this release indicate site locations and hours of operation. Early voters should remember to bring a photo ID that contains a signature, such as a Florida driver's license. Other acceptable forms of ID can be found on the Elections Department website.
Voters who choose to wait until Election Day must go to their assigned polling places, which is can be found on their Voter Information Card, on the Elections Department website by clicking on "Where to Vote" or by calling the Elections Department.
