(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- The Miami-Dade County Elections Department would like to remind those voters who requested an absentee ballot and have not returned it that the absentee ballot must be delivered in person by 7:00 p.m. Absentee ballots received after 7:00 p.m. will not be counted, per state law.
Voters can drop off their absentee ballot at one of the following locations:
- Elections Department Headquarters (2700 NW 87th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33172)
- Satellite Office at the Stephen P. Clark Center (111 NW 1st Street, Miami, Florida 33128)
Per state law, the completed absentee ballot must be in the Elections Department's possession by 7:00 p.m. State law provides that any voter in line at their precinct by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day will be afforded the opportunity to vote. This does not apply to absentee ballots.
Election Day Results
Election results will become available on the Department's website beginning at 7:15 p.m. on November 6 and will be updated regularly throughout the night and possibly into the next day. The Elections Department will indicate once the final election results are posted on its website.
