The voter registration deadline for the May 14, 2013 Miami-Dade Special Election is Monday, April 15


Voting is the most impactful way to have a say in important issues that affect our community. The Miami-Dade County Special Election scheduled for May 14, 2013 is an opportunity for Miami-Dade voters to cast their ballot regarding the modernization of Sun Life stadium.

“In order to participate in this election, you must be a registered voter, and the deadline of April 15th is quickly approaching,” stated Penelope Townsley, Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections. “One of our most important missions is to encourage all eligible residents to register and to take advantage of their right to vote.”

With the deadline just four days away, the most convenient option for those interested in registering to vote is to visit the Elections Department website and click on “Register to Vote.” After completing the online form, it must be printed, signed, and mailed to the Elections Department at:

This form MUST be postmarked by Monday, April 15, 2013 to be accepted as valid for this election.

The Doral office will remain open until midnight on April 15th to afford every possible opportunity to the residents of Miami-Dade County.
