Early Voting began today in Miami-Dade County


(MIAMI, August 11, 2014) – Early Voting for the August 26, 2014, Primary Election started today and will run through Sunday, August 24th, the full 14 days allowable by law. Hours of operation vary to accommodate the needs of all Miami-Dade voters.

Voters are reminded they may go to any of the 20 sites throughout the Early Voting period, unlike Election Day when they must go to their assigned precinct.

Before heading to an Early Voting location, please note that the Elections Department has made a few site changes for this election.  Below is a short list of Early Voting sites that will no longer be used and their replacement sites:

Wait times for all 20 sites will also be posted on the Department’s website and will be updated throughout the day, so that voters can make an informed decision as to when and where is most convenient for them. Voters are also encouraged to review the sample ballot on the Department’s website to view ballot language before casting their vote.
