Early Voting in Miami-Dade begins Monday, October 20 at 25 convenient locations


(MIAMI, October 17, 2014) – Miami-Dade County is offering 14 consecutive days of Early Voting, from Monday, October 20 through Sunday, November 2, the maximum allowable by law.  In an effort to accommodate all voters’ busy schedules, varying hours of operation will be offered.

The Department will have a total of 25 Early Voting sites throughout the County, offering more locations than ever before.  Of these, 19 remain at the same location, one has been relocated, and five new locations have been introduced to make Early Voting even more convenient.  The six new locations are as follows:

For the complete list of Early Voting locations and hours of operation, please visit the Elections Department website at http://www.miamidade.gov/elections/vote-early.asp.  Wait times for all 25 sites will be posted on the Elections Department’s website and will be updated throughout the day, so that voters can make an informed decision as to when and where is most convenient for them.

Voters are also encouraged to review their customized sample ballot on the Department’s website at http://www.miamidade.gov/elections/voter-information.asp to view ballot language before casting their vote.

Voters are reminded they can go to any of the 25 sites throughout the Early Voting period, unlike Election Day when they must go to their assigned precinct.
