The Charter currently contains specific density and height limitations that conflict with other contemplated and existing documents in the City including the proposed Comprehensive Plan. It is proposed that such limitations be modified to provide for total conformance to the City's Comprehensive Plan.

POWER OF THE CITY

The city charter requires that the city obtain voter approval at an election before city property, with an appraised value greater than $25,000, is sold. It is proposed that the city have the ability to sell property without the need for an election provided it cannot sell the property for less than 90% of the appraised value of the property.
