In order to vote at any early voting site or precinct, you must produce one of the following current and valid picture identifications:
- Florida Driver’s License
- Florida Identification Card issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
- United States Passport
- Debit or Credit Card
- Military Identification
- Student Identification
- Retirement Center Identification
- Neighborhood Association Identification
- Public Assistance Identification
If the picture identification does not contain a signature, an additional identification with a signature will be required. It is not mandatory that you bring your Voter’s Information Card with you to vote. This card is intended to inform you that you are a registered voter, what district races you are able to vote on, and what precinct you belong to.
If you are unable to produce acceptable identification, you will be asked to complete a provisional ballot. Any person casting a provisional ballot has the right to provide proof of identity to the Supervisor of Elections by 5 p.m. on the second day following the election to ensure the vote is counted. However, if you voted in your assigned precinct and the signature on your provisional ballot matches your signature on file with the Elections Department, you do not need to provide proof of identity - your provisional ballot will be counted.
