A swimming advisory for the Florida Intracoastal Waterway between Sunny Isles Blvd. and William Lehman Causeway has been lifted


(MIAMI, October 5, 2013) – The precautionary Swimming Advisory for the Florida Intracoastal Waterway, north of Sunny Isles Blvd (NE 163rd Street), and south of the William Lehman Causeway, including the waters of Maule Lake, Little Maule Lake and Dumbfoundling Bay has been lifted.  Test results from the affected waters show that bacteria levels have returned to normal; therefore, the precautionary advisory that was established on September 30th for this area and other nearby waters is no longer in effect.
