During every new employee orientation session a representative of the Ethics Commission explains the Code of Ethics/Conflict of Interest ordinance as it applies to County employees. Examples of possible conflict of interest are:

• accepting gifts from vendors
• secondary employment
• doing business with immediate family, etc.
