The Amelia Earhart Park is a recreation area owned by Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation. It is located just north of Hialeah in Miami-Dade County.
Named after the pioneering female pilot, Amelia Earhart Park features picnicking, two lakes for fishing, bike trails, a soccer center, a playground, dog park and the Bill Graham Farm Village.
Dog Park: The five-acre Bark Park is completely fenced and offers a separate section for smaller dogs. Amenities include paved walkways, benches, shade trees, waste dispenser stations, and specially designed drinking and spray fountains for dogs and their owners.
Bill Graham Farm Village: This popular attraction is a re-created Miami-Dade County homestead where you revisit the county's agricultural past . The pioneer farm replica features a demonstration shed, exhibit hall, sugar cane press and pony ring. There's also an air-conditioned country store.
The Tom Sawyer Island just outside the Bill Graham Farm Village at Amelia Earhart Park is truly a small child's paradise.
