South River Drive Historic District The Miami River Inn 428, 438 SW First St., 437 SW Second St., 104, 1 Miami, Florida Built between 1906 and 1910, the inn was restored to its original splendor in the late 1980's and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Six of the buildings in the South River Drive Historic District were all completed before 1915. These buildings, comprise Miami's oldest surviving group of Frame Vernacular.
The South River Drive Historic District is comprised of the Miami River Inn, the J.W. Warner House and four 1940s apartment buildings.
