All Film, TV, Commercial and Print Professionals of the Entertainment Industry, Support Businesses, Unions and related trade organizations are welcome. The purpose of this meeting is to inform and educate members of the Film Community regarding how the Florida Film Incentive is created, the strength of the Film Incentive, what the incentive is, the process & timeline for the Legislation to be passed regarding the Florida Film Incentive, and what contribution we can make as a group to insure that the Incentive is passed.
We are a pro-active group that will be a strong voice to support the passing of attractive Filming Incentives on Local and State Levels.
Now is our opportunity to help make a difference by actively supporting the creation and actualization of a Powerful Competitive Film Incentive for the State of Florida for 2009 and the future.
Guest Speakers: Among Guest Speakers, Julio Robaina, State Representative, Graham Winick, President of Film Florida, John Pokorny, Treasurer of the Florida Alliance of Media and Entertainment (F.A.M.E.), and Melodie L. Shaw, Assistant South Region Director of SAG, and Labor Council Leader of Film Florida and Earl Perque, Florida Crew Member. They will share valuable information regarding the Florida Film Incentive Bill of 2008 and the timeline for the 2009 Film Incentive Legislation.
