“Learn to write, shoot, direct and edit your own films!”
Greetings from the Miami Film School! Each student learns the craft of filmmaking by making their own short, character-driven comedy, drama or horror film and each completed film is screened at a South Florida movie theater. Our course is designed for students of all ages and backgrounds who have a passion for filmmaking. We shoot on HD cameras and edit on Final Cut Pro.
The Summer day class begins on July 7, 2008 (Monday-Thursday from 10:00AM to 2:00PM for 8 weeks). The Summer evening class begins on July 7, 2008 (Monday & Wednesday from 6:00PM to 10:00PM for 16 weeks). We limit our enrollment to 8-10 students per class so every student can make their own film.
We do have tuition financing available through Sallie Mae whereby your payments can usually range between $70-$90 per month if you qualify. We also have several partial tuition scholarships available based on ability and need. Internships and job placement assistance are available to graduates.
