It’s a wrap!  Burn Notice finishes filming Season 2!
Burn Notice completed filming Season 2 on October 10th.   We are excited to welcome them back inMiami to film Season 3 in early 2009. 

French movie, RTT, currently filming
R.T.T is the story of a French man who follows his ex-girlfriend from Paris to Miami in order to win her back, but ends up meeting a sexy and dangerous woman at the airport who unwittingly uses him to smuggle a stolen painting into America. Once they arrive in Miami, their paths merge rather than dissect and they end up on the run together, on a romantic-comedic adventure throughout South Florida.   Filming set to begin towards the end of this month.

MAC@MAM presents CHANTAL AKERMAN: Moving Through Time and Space, October 16, 2008-January 25, 2009.  Stop by and see this innovative filmmaker’s work.  She not only works in ambitious documentary forms, but manages with equal adeptness a rigorous avant-garde film tradition as well as more entertaining feature-film narrative modes. The five projects comprising Moving through Time and Space span more than two decades of Akerman’s career.

Taste of Design, November 14th 7PM-10PM
1st Annual DASH Creative Minds Awards Celebration! Indulge yourself for the benefit of Design and Architecture High School as they honor their alumni of distinction. The spectacular event will showcase tantalizing culinary offerings from five of the Miami District’s finest restaurants including Soyka, Pacific Time, Brosia, Michael’s Genuine Food and Fratelli Lyon. Latin funk sound of Miami’s own wonder man DJ Le Spam and the Spam AllStars will entertain.

Jamil Gonzalez joins our team as Office Aide.  Miami-born and raised, Jamil recently returned from New York, after graduating from City University of New York- Hunter College, where he receive a double-major degree in Theater & Film. We are happy to welcome him on-board!
