2006 Statistical Section

This part of Miami-Dade County’s comprehensive annual financial report presents detailed information as a context for understanding what the information in the financial statements, note disclosures, and required supplementary information says about the County’s overall financial health.

Financial Trends adobe reader
These schedules contain trend information to help the reader understand howthe County’s Financial performance and financial condition have changed over time

Revenue Capacity adobe reader
These schedules contain information to help the reader assess the factors affectingthe County’s ability to generate its most significant revenue source, property taxes  

Debt Capacity adobe reader
These schedules present information to help the reader assess the County’s current debt burden and the County’s ability to issue additional debt

Demographic and Economic Information adobe reader
These schedules offer demographic and economic indicators to help the reader understand the socioeconomic environment within which the County operates

Operating Information adobe reader
These schedules contain information about the County’s operations and resources to help the reader understand how the County’s financial information relates to the services it provides and the activities it rerforms
 
Miscellaneous Information adobe reader
These schedules provide supplemental data and statistics to readers of the County's financial statements
 
Sources:   Unless otherwise noted, the information in these schedules is derived from the comprehensive annual financial reports for the relevant year.  The County implemented GASB Statement 34 in Fiscal Year 2001-2002.  Schedules presenting government-wide information include information beginning in that year.
