Interim Fire Chief Alan Cominsky is proud to announce the promotion of 116 officers and personnel. The newly promoted officers and personnel will include two Fire Division Chiefs, nine Chief Fire Officers, 23 Fire Captains, and 50 Lieutenants. MDFR will also recognize 32 civilian promotions.

“It’s always very gratifying to see our personnel excel and wanting to grow within our Department,” said Interim Fire Chief Alan Cominsky. “I continue to encourage our employees to pursue opportunities to expand their knowledge in the fire service, as their professional growth directly correlates with the level of service we provide to our community.”
