MDFR first responders join Pitbull at the Latin GRAMMY Awards ® for a special performance to honor front-line workers

(MIAMI, Nov. 19, 2020) – Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) is proud to announce that MDFR Capt. Eddy Alarcon, Lt. Troy Maness and FF Adrian Ballard will join GRAMMY winner Pitbull at the Latin GRAMMY Awards for a special performance to honor and recognize the selfless and courageous efforts of the first responders and front-line health professionals throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The band, made up of other former and current first responders, will take center stage with Mr. 305 during the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Univision. Through the power of music, and geared up with guitars and vocals, MDFR's firefighters will bring the MDFR touch to the 305 representing our Department with pride. This is a performance you won’t want to miss! Dale!

Due to the challenges of the pandemic, the 21st Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will not have a live audience or a red carpet. All COVID-19 safety precautions were taken into account to protect everyone during rehearsal and the event.
