In accordance with §14-36, Code of Miami-Dade County, any person aggrieved by any action or decision of any fire official of any jurisdiction in Miami-Dade County with respect to any regulation regarding fire prevention or life safety may appeal to Miami-Dade Fire Prevention and Safety Appeals Board by completing the Fire Prevention & Safety Appeals Board Application, and payment of the required fee.
Upon receipt of a completed application and non-refundable fee, the appeal will be placed on the agenda of the next regularly scheduled meeting provided the application and fee are submitted prior to the filing deadline. Applications received past the filing deadline will be added to the following meeting’s agenda.

The Miami-Dade Fire Prevention and Safety Appeals Board generally will meet on the last Thursday of every other month.
Meetings are scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. and appeals are heard in the order listed on the agenda, except at the pleasure of the Board. Meetings are held at the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Training Facility, 9300 NW 41 Street, Doral, FL 33178.
