Miami-Dade County Commission Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson on Aug. 3 accepted a donation of 20,000 PPE face masks for distribution in the community from the Taipei Cultural and Economic Office (TECO) in Miami, which represents the interests of Taiwan and is Taiwan’s de facto Consulate General in Miami.

Chairwoman Edmonson doubles reward for tip leading to arrest in drive-by shooting of 7-year old girl, toddler and family

Miami-Dade County Commission Chairwoman Audrey M. Edmonson will match Miami-Dade Police and Crime Stoppers’ $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators of Saturday’s drive-by shooting in Brownsville that killed 7-year-old Alana Washington and also wounded 2-year-old Alto Jacobs III, along with a man and a woman.
