Mobility EASY Card

This program is not currently open for enrollment

Miami-Dade County residents whose annual income is $19,140 or less may qualify to ride Metrobus and Metrorail free of charge with the Transit Mobility EASY Card.

The card is valid for only one year and should be renewed. The expiration date is printed on the EASY Card.

The Transit Mobility EASY Card is made available by a limited grant program, on a first-come, first-served basis until grant funds are exhausted.


  • How to Apply

    Apply in person at the Golden Passport Office located on the first floor of the Government Center Metrorail Station.

    Make sure to bring:

    • A valid Florida Driver’s License or Florida ID showing a Miami-Dade County physical address
    • Social Security card
    • Proof of income
      • Previous Year Tax Return
      • Previous Year W-2 Tax Form
      • 1 month of recent Paycheck stubs (new applicants only)
  • Renew Your Transit Mobility EASY Card

    Your Transit Mobility EASY Card must be renewed annually on or before the expiration date printed on the card. 

    What to provide: 

    • A current valid Florida ID or driver’s license with a Miami-Dade County physical address
    • Social Security Card
    • Proof of income 
      • Previous Year Tax Return 
      • Previous Year W-2 Tax Form 
    • Your last issued Transit Mobility EASY Card
  • Lost, Stolen or Damaged EASY Cards

    Replace your lost, stolen or damaged EASY Card at any Transit Service Center by completing the EASY Card replacement form.


    • $5 for the first replacement
    • $20 for the second replacement
    • $50 for each replacement thereafter

    A one-time fee waiver is available during the lifespan of your EASY Card when an original police report is presented.
