REPORT: In response to Commissioner Sorenson’s inquiry why the foregoing proposed resolution was on today’s agenda when this issue was addressed by the Metropolitan Planning Organization, Commissioner Heyman stated this item differed in that it provided for an express water transit service from two sites—one south and one north. Commissioner Moss spoke in support, however, he noted it was a take off from the MPO study that was done.
