TITLE
RESOLUTION RETROACTIVELY AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE MIAMI-DADE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION FOR THE JULY 15, 2007 ZO'S SUMMER GROOVE BLOCK PARTY SPONSORED BY ALONZO MOURNING CHARITIES, INC., A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $500.00 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE COUNTYWIDE IN-KIND RESERVE FUND

BODY
WHEREAS, Alonzo Mourning Charities, Inc. has requested in-kind services from the Miami-Dade General Services Administration for the July 15, 2007 Zo's Summer Groove Block Party in an amount not to exceed $500.00 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, Zo's Summer Groove Block Party is a free event designed to offer the community an opportunity to engage in dialogue with celebrity guest, participate in family fun activities and prize giveaways; and
WHEREAS, Alonzo Morning Charities, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization; and
WHEREAS, Zo's Summer Groove Block Party is a major event, as defined in the attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application, and the in-kind services shall be funded from the Countywide In-kind Reserve Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board retroactively authorizes in-kind services from the Miami-Dade General Services Administration for the July 15, 2007 Zo's Summer Groove Block Party in an amount not to exceed $500.00 to be funded from the Countywide In-kind Reserve Fund.
