TITLE
RESOLUTION RETROACTIVELY AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM MIAMI-DADE PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND THE MIAMI-DADE FIRE RESCUE DEPARTMENT FOR THE ''ANNUAL JULY 4TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION'' SPONSORED BY THE CITY OF NORTH MIAMI IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,826.00 TO BE FUNDED IN PART FROM DISTRICT 1, DISTRICT 2, DISTRICT 3 AND DISTRICT 4 IN-KIND RESERVE FUNDS AND IN PART FROM THE NON-AD VALOREM PORTION OF THE FIRE RESCUE IN-KIND RESERVE FUND

BODY
WHEREAS, the City of North Miami has requested in-kind services from the Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department for the 2008 ''July 4th Independence Day Celebration'' in an amount not to exceed $2,826.00 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, this annual event commemorates the independence of the United States of America and is celebrated by the use of fireworks in a safe and controlled environment; and
WHEREAS, the Annual July 4th Independence Day Celebration is a small event, as defined in the attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application and the in-kind services shall be funded in part from District 1, District 2, District 3 and District 4 In-kind Reserve Funds and in part from the non-ad valorem portion of the Fire Rescue In-kind Reserve Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board retroactively authorizes in-kind services from the Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department for the ''Annual July 4th Independence Day Celebration'' sponsored by the City of North Miami in an amount not to exceed $2,826.00 to be funded in part from District 1, District 2, District 3 and District 4 In-kind Reserve Funds and in part from the non-ad valorem portion of the Fire Rescue In-kind Reserve Fund.
