TITLE
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY MAYOR OR THE MAYOR�S DESIGNEE TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE REPORT THAT OUTLINES THE VARIOUS PROCESSES OF REDISTRIBUTING UNALLOCATED AND RECAPTURED COUNTY FUNDS

BODY
WHEREAS, the County has a number of funding sources, including but not limited to: General Obligation Bond (�GOB�) funds, interest on GOB funds, Quality Neighborhood Improvement Program (�QNIP�) funds, Community Based Organization (�CBO�) funds and Community Development Block Grant (�CDBG�) funds; and
WHEREAS, there are a number of instances where County funds are either unallocated or recaptured; and
WHEREAS, this Board would benefit from a comprehensive report of the funding that is distributed by the County and their attendant redistribution procedures; and
WHEREAS, one of the purposes of this request is to ensure that there exists clearly established redistribution procedures and that said procedures are equitable,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board, requests that the County Mayor of Mayor�s Designee provide a comprehensive report within sixty (60) days of the effective date of this Resolution that outlines the various redistribution processes for unallocated and recaptured funds for each of the funding sources available from the County.
