TITLE RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF FY 2008-2009 DISTRICT DISCRETIONARY RESERVE FUNDS OF DISTRICT 3, DISTRICT 3 OFFICE BUDGET FUNDS AND RESCINDING PREVIOUS DISCRETIONARY RESERVE ALLOCATION OF DISTRICT 3 BODY Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Dade County Alumnae re: Transportation Delta Days at the State Capital $3,000.00 St. John Community Development Corporation, Inc., re: Things are Cooking in Overtown Annual Gala $2,500.00 The Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade re: 2009 Fit to Play Summer Camp $2,000.00 Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce re: 8th Annual Gala Celebration $1,500.00 The Historic Saint Agnes Episcopal Church re: bus charter to take Overtown�s disadvantage children to Busch Gardens $1,200.00 The Alternative Programs, Inc. re: P.A.P.P. Program $ 700.00 Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church: re: 1st Annual Robert B. Ingram Scholarship Golf Tournament $ 500.00 WHEREAS, this Board desires to make the following allocations of FY 2008-2009 District 3 Office Budget Funds: Miami-Dade Park & Recreation Department re: Showmobile for District 3 Back to School Event $1,085.00 A Navas Party Production re: rental of tables and chairs for Father Jean-Juste�s Memorial Service June 5, 2009 $2,000.00 Purchase items for District 3�s Homeowners/Neighborhood Improvement Council of Presidents meeting scheduled for Thursday, 7-16-09 up to $ 500.00 WHEREAS, this Board desires to rescind the allocation to American Scores in the amount of $500.00, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board: Section 1.
