TITLE
RESOLUTION RETROACTIVELY AUTHORIZING IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE MIAMI-DADE PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE NOVEMBER 24-25, 2009 �OJUS FAMILY PICNIC� SPONSORED BY OJUS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $500.00 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE UNSPENT BALANCE OF THE DISTRICT 4 FY 2008-09 IN-KIND RESERVE FUND

BODY
WHEREAS, Ojus Elementary School, has requested in-kind services from the Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department for the November 24-25, 2009 �Ojus Family Picnic� in an amount not to exceed $500.00 (see attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application); and
WHEREAS, the �Ojus Family Picnic� is an annual event which gives students from Ojus Elementary School and their families an opportunity to enjoy sports and recreational activities together; and
WHEREAS, the �Ojus Family Picnic� is a district event, as that term is defined on the attached Fee Waiver/In-kind Service Application, and $500.00 of the in-kind services shall be funded from the unspent balance of the District 4 FY 2008-09 In-kind Reserve Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board retroactively authorizes in-kind services from the Miami-Dade Park and Recreation Department for the November 24-25, 2009 �Ojus Family Picnic� in an amount not to exceed $500.00 to be funded from the unspent balance of the District 4 FY 2008-09 In-kind Reserve Fund.
