RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ALLOCATION OF UNEXPENDED DISTRICT 3 DISCRETIONARY RESERVE FUNDS, THE ALLOCATION OF OFFICE BUDGET FUNDS AND RESCINDING PRIOR ALLOCATIONS FROM DISTRICT 3 DISCRETIONARY RESERVE FUNDS

WHEREAS, this Board desires to make the following allocations from the unexpended District 3 Discretionary Reserve Funds in accordance with the criteria for allocating such funds, see attached,
Mt. Zion Developments, Inc. re: Overtown Community $1,000.00
Oversight Board Business & Economic Development Summit
Communities United Inc. re: Hurricane Kits $2,000.00; and

WHEREAS, this Board desires to make the following allocation from the District 3 Office Budget Funds:

The Haitian American Leadership Organization (HALO) $500.00; and
re: Haiti Relief Effort

WHEREAS, this Board desires to rescind the following allocations from the FY 2008-2009 District 3 Discretionary Reserve Funds made on October 23, 2008 and May 5, 2009:

Miami-Dade County Public Schools HIV/AIDS Education Program $2,000.00

Date of Allocation � May 5, 2009
The University of Miami re: Willliam R. Butler
Center for Eta Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Scholarship $1,000.00,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board:
Section 1. Approves allocations from the unexpended District 3 Discretionary Reserve Funds as follows:
Mt. Zion Developments, Inc. re: Overtown Community $1,000.00
Oversight Board Business & Economic Development Summit
Communities United Inc. re: Hurricane Kits $2,000.00; and

Section 2. Approves the following allocation from the District 3 Office Budget Funds:
