TITLE
RESOLUTION REAPPOINTING HONORABLE JUDGE STEVEN LEIFMAN TO THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY HOMELESS TRUST BOARD; WAIVING THE TERM LIMITS OF SECTION 2-752(C) OF THE CODE OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY

BODY
WHEREAS, Honorable Judge Steven Leifman�s dedication, service and professional experience have significantly contributed to Miami-Dade County; and
WHEREAS, Honorable Judge Steven Leifman has served as a dedicated member of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust (�Homeless Trust�) for many years; and
WHEREAS, Honorable Judge Steven Leifman has successfully served as the Chair of the Homeless Trust Finance Committee and his knowledge of and expertise in this area is an invaluable asset to the Homeless Trust; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-752(c) of the Miami-Dade County Code, the Board of County Commissioners (the �Board�) is authorized by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its full membership to waive the established term limits,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board, pursuant to Section 2-752(c) of the Code of Miami-Dade County, waives the established terms limits, thereby reappointing Honorable Judge Steven Leifman to the Homeless Trust Board.
