RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH CO-DESIGNATION OF 183RD STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLE BEACH AS ��CITY COMMISSIONER ROSLYN BREZIN STREET��

BODY
WHEREAS, on November 18, 2010, the Sunny Isles Beach City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2010-1629, which co-designated NE 168th Terrace within the City of Sunny Isles Beach as �City Commissioner Roslyn Brezin Terrace,� in recognition of her contributions to the City of Sunny Isles Beach; and
WHEREAS, on January 20, 2011, this Board approved this co-designation pursuant to Resolution R-43-11, a copy of which is attached and incorporated for reference; and
WHEREAS, on February 23, 2011, the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach passed a new resolution moving the co-designation from 168th Terrace to 183rd Street, and naming 183rd Street rather than 168th Terrace �City Commissioner Roslyn Brezin Street� pursuant to Resolution No. 2011-1686, a copy of which is attached and incorporated for reference; and
WHEREAS, 183rd Street in the City of Sunny Isles Beach is a city street; and
WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wants the County to install signage indicating this co-designation on County street signs and traffic signal masts arms; and
WHEREAS, this co-designation is located in County Commission District 4,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board:
Section 1. Approves the City of Sunny Isles Beach co-designation of 183rd Street within the City of Sunny Isles Beach as �City Commissioner Roslyn Brezin Street.�
Section 2. Directs the Clerk of the Board to send certified copies of this Resolution to the City Manager of the City of Sunny Isles Beach the United States Postal Service, the Traffic Signals and Signs Division and Land Development Division of the Public Works Department, the City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department, and the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.
