REPORT:	Assistant County Attorney Jess McCarty read the foregoing resolution into the record. Commissioner Jordan noted that although she had established the Annexation and Incorporation Task Force, she had not been notified regarding the meetings. She pointed out that when Commissioners were sponsoring items they should have an opportunity to express their intent of creating the task force to its members and be a part of the first meeting to set the tone. Hearing no further questions or comments, the Committee proceeded to vote.

TITLE
RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE MAYOR OR THE MAYOR�S DESIGNEE TO NOTIFY A COMMISSIONER OF ALL MEETINGS THAT RESULT FROM LEGISLATION SPONSORED BY THAT COMMISSIONER

BODY

WHEREAS, Commissioners sponsor legislation on matters in which they have a great interest; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners sponsoring legislation have an interest in following, and participating in, the outcome of the legislation sponsored,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board directs the Mayor or the Mayor�s designee to notify a Commissioner of all meetings that result from legislation sponsored by that Commissioner, including the meetings of any board, committee, or task force created by legislation sponsored by that Commissioner. The Mayor or the Mayor�s designee is further directed to place a presentation by that Commissioner, if that Commissioner chooses, on the agenda for the initial meeting of such board, committee, or task force.
