TITLE
RESOLUTION WAIVING THE TERM LIMITS OF SECTION 2-752(C) OF THE CODE OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, BY A TWO-THIRDS (2/3) VOTE OF THE FULL MEMBERSHIP OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, FOR THE REAPPOINTMENT OF HONORABLE JUDGE STEVEN LEIFMAN TO THE MIAMI-DADE COUNTY HOMELESS TRUST BOARD

BODY
WHEREAS, Honorable Judge Steven Leifman�s dedication, service and professional experience have significantly contributed to Miami-Dade County; and
WHEREAS, Honorable Judge Steven Leifman has served as a dedicated member of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust Board (the ''Homeless Trust'') for many years; and
WHEREAS, Honorable Judge Steven Leifman has successfully served as the Chair of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust Finance Committee and his knowledge and expertise in this area are an invaluable asset to the Homeless Trust; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-752 (c) of the Miami-Dade County Code, a Homeless Trust board member is term limited to two (2) consecutive and complete terms of three (3) years each, but the Board of County Commissioners (the ''Board'') is authorized by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its full membership to waive the established term limits,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that this Board, pursuant to Section 2-752 (c) of the Code of Miami-Dade County, waives the established term limits by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its full membership, thereby reappointing Honorable Judge Steven Leifman to the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust Board.
