| Miami-Dade County is announcing the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the “FY 2008-2009 Choose Life License Plate Initiative.” Through a competitive process, organizations may apply for “annual use fees,” distributed to Miami-Dade County by the State of Florida. Miami-Dade County’s Office of Grants Coordination, is releasing the RFP to solicit proposals from organizations that are qualified to administer funds generated within Miami-Dade County by the “Choose Life” License Plate, issued by the State of Florida in accordance with Florida Statute subsections 320.08056, 320.08058(29) and 320.08062.
Approximately $41,174 is available to support one or more applications funded via this RFP for a 12-month budget period. The RFP will be available for pickup on October 30, 2009, after 12:00 noon, at:

Applicants are required to attend a mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference, on November 5, 2009, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., in the 19th Floor Conference Room, at the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, Miami 33128.
