Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program
The Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program was created to provide financial and technical assistance to qualified for-profit small businesses that are approved for funding. This program has allowed small owned and operated businesses the opportunity to interact with local government under favorable conditions, and this relationship will ultimately bridge the gap between the two entities.Mom and Pop Grants are administered in collaboration with your Miami-Dade County Commissioner's Office. For an application please contact Neighbors and Neighbors Association at 305-756-0605 or your respective commissioner's office. Some commissioners provide additional information about the program on their websites.
District 1
Grant applications for District 1 will be available from January 26 through February 8 via electronic download or pick-up at Commissioner Barbara J. Jordan's District Office, 2780 NW 167 Street, or Neighbors And Neighbors Association (NANA), 180 NW 62 Street. Grant applications for District 4 will be available from January 16 through February 17 via electronic download or pick-up at Commissioner Sally A. Heyman's District Office, 1100 NE 163rd Street, #303. For more information contact Commissioner Heyman's District Office at (305) 787-5999 or visit www.miamidade.gov/district04.- Approved grant recipients will be contacted with mandatory workshop information.
