Enrique Peñalosa is an international consultant and an influential thinker on urban challenges particularly those related to sustainability, mobility, equity, public space and well being. He has advised local and national governments in Asia, Australia, Africa, Latin America and North America on Urban Vision, Strategy and Policy.

He is an international lecturer on environmental, urban design and policy issues. He is one of the experts of the London School of Economics' Urban Age Program. He is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP), a Visiting Scholar at New York University.
