About Us

Miami-Dade County's Office of Resilience assesses and prioritizes our community’s vulnerabilities and collaborates both internally with County departments and externally with government agencies, universities, business groups, nonprofit organizations, and other stakeholders to effectively facilitate countywide resilience and environmental sustainability.

The Office coordinates the implementation of the County’s Sustainability Plan, GreenPrint. GreenPrint establishes a framework for our government and community to achieve a resilient future through a vibrant economy, healthy urban environments, smart mobility, and environmental stewardship.

The Office also leads the County’s role in Resilient Greater Miami and the Beaches (GM&B) as a member of the 100 Resilient Cities Program.  In partnership with the City of Miami and City of Miami Beach, GM&B is currently working to create a tactical roadmap that expresses our community’s resilience priorities and outlines specific initiatives for implementation.
