The Fleet Management Division of the General Services Administration (GSA) department is responsible for the acquisition, maintenance, fueling and disposal of Miami-Dade County’s mobile equipment fleet.[i] Currently, Fleet Management provides maintenance and repairs for approximately 9,000 pieces of diverse mobile equipment including police cars, fire trucks, sanitation vehicles, buses, and construction equipment belonging to over 40 County departments.

Fleet Management provides repair and maintenance services at its 19 repair facilities located throughout the County. It provides unleaded and diesel fueling services to County owned/leased vehicles and to various other local agencies and municipalities, including City of Miami and the Florida Highway Patrol from its 29 fueling locations.
Fleet Management’s centralized approach to managing the County’s fleet allows for administration that is responsive to its customer’s needs and the County’s interests providing efficient, effective, and reliable services.
