Mr. Canales is responsible for assuring developer and management company compliance with requirements for bond-financed rental projects.  Currently, he coordinates the compliance activities of the Authority’s financed multi-family developments and is responsible for the multi-family revenue bond financing application process. He is responsible for the coordination and management of the Homebuyer Education Program that is utilized in the Miami-Dade County Employer Assisted Homeownership Program and with the North, Central and South Miami-Dade Homebuyer Clubs.  Mr. Canales began his career with Miami-Dade County in 1992.
