A staunch affordable housing advocate who is an attorney and a licensed general contractor. Mr. Wallace has a twenty-year track record of non-profit policy-making and fund raising to improve housing affordability. He consistently strives to impress upon developers the need for the developing inclusionary housing projects. President, Wallace, Bauman, Legon, Fodiman & Shannon. Mr. Wallace has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1959. He served as Judge in Miami and as the Assistant Attorney General of Florida from 1965 to 1969. Mr. Wallace was the co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Home Intensive Care, Inc. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Diabetes Support Systems, Inc., and President and Director of Biscayne National Corp, and former Chair of the Board of the Miami-Dade County Housing Authority. He is the recipient of several awards, including the Affordable Housing Foundation "Housing Heroes" award in 2000. |
