By stimulating the construction and rehabilitation of multifamily rental housing and the creation of home ownership opportunities, the Housing Finance Authority is working to alleviate the shortage of housing in Miami-Dade County. The Authority assists potential home buyers to prepare for the purchase of a home through a comprehensive home buying process training program.

The Housing Finance Authority of Miami-Dade County (the "Authority") is requesting proposals from firms interested in serving as External Auditor to the Authority. Foreclosure Prevention Clinic

One Day Spanish Language Homebuyer Workshop
Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The class will be held at ACCION, 858 W. Flagler Street, Downtown Miami. There is a $50.00 registration fee to attend. The workshop covers the 8-hour curriculum for first-time homebuyers. You will recieve a certificate of completion after attending the full day.

HFA Goes "Green"
Sustainable or "green" building practices have demonstrated the ability to save homeowners and renters from 25%-65% in utility costs every month. HFA will be introducing a Sustainable Building Initiative in 2007.
