Trick or Treat! It's Halloween

From trick-or-treating to spooky ghost tours, there are plenty of activities for you and your family to enjoy this year. Before you get decked out in your scary costume, take some time to read about the following activities and resources sure to make your Halloween the spookiest ever.


  • HistoryMiami City Cemetery Tour on Oct. 28
    Join historian Dr. Paul George on a tour around Miami's oldest cemetery. Visit the final resting places of Miami's notables, famous and infamous.
  • Spooky Zoo Nights on Oct. 28-31
    Have a faBOOlous Halloween at Spooky Zoo Nights! Hear chilling storytelling, visit Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House and ride the ghoulish carousel. Goodies and roving street theatre will add excitement to the pathways.
  • Free Trick or Treat event at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center on Oct. 28
    There's a kids costume parade, haunted house, candy giveaway, scary movies and food trucks from 6 to 10 p.m.
  • Vizcaya Halloween Sundowner on Oct. 29
    Enjoy an unforgettable evening of food, drinks, music, outrageous costumes and a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay, while supporting the preservation and protection of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
  • Downtown Fright Night - Halloween Block Party on Oct. 29
    East Flagler Street in Downtown Miami transforms into Flagler Fright Night. Kids can trick-or-treat early, and adults can participate in an 11:30 p.m. performance of "Thriller" with DJ Laz.
  • Zoo Boo on Oct. 29-30
    Zoo Boo is a spooktacular way to celebrate Halloween. Families and kids ages 12 and under are invited to trick-or-treat in costumes, participate in costume contests, make Halloween crafts and more. Save money and time by purchasing your tickets online.
