Trick or Treat! It's Halloween

From trick-or-treating to spooky ghost tours, there are plenty of activities for you and your family to enjoy this year. Before you get decked out in your scary costume, take some time to read about the following activities and resources sure to make your Halloween the spookiest ever.


  • Ghost Tours at Deering Oct. 15 and Oct. 29
    Experience your own paranormal activity! The Deering Estate at Cutler offers a variety of Ghost Tours and Paranormal Investigations.
  • Monster Masquerade on Oct. 16
    Stroll the moonlit walkways off Zoo Miamiat your peril; living and non-living things will greet you with scary sights, sounds and smells; after all it is the Zoo.
  • Not So Scary Family Halloween Bash on Oct.18
    The Miami Children's Museum will turn into a haunted area where guests can trick-or-treat their way around the galleries.
  • A.D. Barnes Park Spooky Trail on Oct. 23-24
    Be part of this spooktacular time of trick-or-treating, pumpkin carving and walking through the spooky trail of A.D. Barnes Park's EcoCenter.
  • Zoo Boo on Oct. 24-25
    Zoo Boo is a spooktacular way to celebrate Halloween. Families and kids ages 12 and under are invited to trick-or-treat in costumes, participate in costume contests, make Halloween crafts and more. Save money and time by purchasing your tickets online.
  • Investigative Ghost Tour on Oct. 24 and 28
    Join park naturalists and Messengers Paranormal to explore the haunted woods of historic Arch Creek Park on this supernatural walking tour!
  • The Cat and the Canary (1927) on Oct. 28
    Watch one of the spookiest melodrama films ever created. The film will be shown with the accompaniment of a live theatre organist in the Courtyard of Vizcaya's Main House.
  • Vizcaya Halloween Sundowner on Oct. 30
    Enjoy an unforgettable evening of food, drinks, music, outrageous costumes and a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay, while supporting the preservation and protection of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
  • HistoryMiami City Cemetery Tour on Oct. 30
    Join historian Dr. Paul George on a tour around Miami's oldest cemetery. Visit the final resting places of Miami's notables, famous and infamous.
  • Spooky Zoo Nights on Oct.30-31

  • Halloween Art-Making at PAMM on Oct. 31
