This year, Thanksgiving takes place on Thursday, Nov. 28. Before you celebrate Turkey Day with your loved ones, read up on activities and resources ensure that your Thanksgiving is the best ever.

Department services

Miami-Dade County offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.

  • Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.
  • Garbage and Trash service will operate on a normal schedule/
