Commissioner Moss dedicates 4 tot lots for public housing residents in District #9

 

(MIAMI, October 2, 2012) - As part of Commissioner Dennis C. Moss’ continuing commitment to improve the lives of the residents of District #9, he has partnered with Public Housing and Community Development (PHCD) and Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces to create four playground lots for children from 2-5 years old living in public housing developments. Commissioner Moss provided funding for these Tot Lots through the Quality Neighborhoods Improvements Programs (QNIP) for capital infrastructure projects in unincorporated Miami Dade County.

Commissioner Moss will preside in a dedication ceremony at each of the four sites (Arthur Mays Villas, Southridge, Naranja and Perrine Gardens) on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 and invites all the public housing toddlers and their families to attend.
