Citizens' Crime Watch is a program that organizes neighborhoods and educates residents in crime prevention and personal safety techniques to reduce the risk of being victimized at home, in their vehicles and in public places. It also trains members in the importance of recognizing, evaluating and properly reporting suspicious activities.

Citizens' Crime Watch of Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development and police departments will visit public housing sites to meet with residents to inform them of the importance of crime prevention and encourage participation in establishing the crime prevention groups. To schedule a meeting at your public housing site, please contact the Resident Services Unit at 786-469-4133.
