Section 3 Jobs

Do you need a job?  Would you like to be contacted for employment opportunities? If you answered yes to the questions above, then Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development's (PHCD) Resident Services Unit (RSU) may be just what you are looking for!  RSU can refer you to the resources you need for employment. Please access the Section 3 Job Referral Intake Form .

This information will be used for referral of Section 3 residents to vendors awarded Section 3 covered contracts upon request, for potential employment when new hires are required for completion of the project. 

PHCD will give preference to Public Housing residents when referring Section 3 residents to vendors.

Section 3 residents are:

1- Public Housing residents (please return the form to your site manager), or
2- Individuals who reside in the area in which Section 3 covered assistance is expended and who meet the low or very-low income level defined in the current Miami-Dade County income limits. Please return the form to:

Vendor training and contracts

A business that is owned (51% or more) by Section 3 residents can qualify to participate as a Section 3 Business. Businesses that employ Section 3 residents full time (30% or more of permanent staff) are also eligible to participate in the Section 3 Program.

To apply for Section 3 Business Certification, please submit the Section 3 Business Application  to the Section 3 Coordinator at section3@miamidade.gov or fax it to 786-469-4199.
