Admission and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)
The ACOP is a supporting document to Miami-Dade Housing Agency's PHA Plan. The purpose of the ACOP is to establish written policies in accordance with United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (USHUD) regulations and in regards to matters not covered under the USHUD regulations. It contains MDHA's internal policies for the Public Housing Division, including Public Housing and Section 8 New Construction programs.

Agency Planning
Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan
In accordance with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations, Miami-Dade County, through the Miami-Dade Housing Agency (MDHA), hereby makes available its Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan.
Proposed 2008-2009 PHA Plan
The proposed PHA Plan for fiscal year starting October 1, 2008 and ending September 30, 2009 is available for review during the 45-day public comment period, from March 17 through April 30, 2008. Written comments may be sent during the comment period to: Miami-Dade Housing Agency, 1401 NW 7 Street, Miami, Florida 33125. After the comment period, a public hearing will be held on May 1, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the MDHA Board Room.
Approved 2007-2008 PHA Plan
Following is the approved 2007-2008 PHA Plan for fiscal year starting October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2008.

Report Housing Fraud
The Miami-Dade Housing Agency (MDHA) has a fraud hotline that is available specifically to receive allegations of suspected fraud or wrongdoing by residents, employees, or entities doing business under MDHA authorization. All calls are confidential and you may choose to remain anonymous at all times.

The Miami-Dade Office of the Inspector General also investigates allegations of housing fraud and has established a satellite office at MDHA's central office. The Inspector General accepts calls from staff and the general public. Calls are confidential and all information received is handled by the Inspector General.

Section 8 Administrative Plan
The Section 8 Administrative Plan is a supporting document to Miami-Dade Housing Agency’s PHA Plan. The purpose of the Section 8 Administrative Plan is to establish written policies in accordance with USHUD regulations and in matters not covered under the regulations, but left to local discretion. It contains MDHA’s internal policies for the Private Rental Housing Division, including Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Section 8 Project-based, Moderate Rehabilitation, Section 8 Homeownership, and other USHUD special allocation programs.
Section 8 Administrative Plan Revisions
MDHA has revised its Section 8 Administrative Plan to include provisions under the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act (QHWRA), the One Strike policy, and to include MDHA’s Effective Communication Policy and Reasonable Accommodation Policy and Procedures, which were revised to improve services to persons with disabilities.
