The Miami-Dade Housing Agency (MDHA) provides the ranking of the July 2008 Waiting List for its project-based (Public Housing and Moderate Rehabilitation), Assisted Living Facilities, and tenant-based (Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher) programs on the Waiting List page in a downloadable PDF format. The waiting list is sorted by applicant last name, then first name and split in three parts to make searching it easier and faster.

The waiting list is organized in alphabetical order by the client's last name, then first name. Each entry is organized according to the diagram below:

Search Tips
Each waiting list is bookmarked according to the first letter of the client's last name. If you are using Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or higher, you can access the bookmarks by clicking on the Bookmarks tab located on the left-hand side of the document window, as shown in the following illustration:
To aid in the search process, you can use the Find tool found up on the toolbar. Its icon is in the shape of binoculars, as shown in the following illustration:
Click on it, and a text box will appear. Type your query in the text box making sure the "Match Whole Word Only" checkbox is marked. Then click "FIND."
Note: It is most helpful if you search by either last name or the confirmation number provided at the time of application..
