Human Resources has several innovative programs that empower County employees to take control of their career paths.

  • Succession Planning, a employee development program, provides personalized career advice to assist employees in reaching their short- and long-term career goals. 
  • Mentoring opportunities pair ambitious employees with experienced County executives and managers   in order to boost their knowledge, skills and development within the County organization.
  • Not only  does the County assist current employees with career development, the County also assists potential employees through its internship and apprenticeship programs.

These are just a few of the career development opportunities that help to make Miami-Dade County an ideal place to learn, grow and work.
