As we continue our recovery and cleanup efforts, please visit the Emergency website for the latest information on openings and closings in Miami-Dade County.

In 2013, the City of Hialeah applied to annex approximately one mile of vacant property to the northwest corner of its boundary.

The proposed annexation area is located in a strategic area within the State of Florida's plan for freight expansion and is ideal to encourage economic development via industrial activity.

Area Overview

The City of Hialeah annexation request is for an area bounded on the:

Northwest by Florida's Turnpike

East by Interstate 75

South by NW 170 Street
